Meta Ads Onboarding
Before we launch a single ad, we need to confirm your Meta setup can actually support it. Three minutes now saves a stuck launch — and a phone call — later.
Answer honestly — "not sure" counts as no. If something's missing, we'll show you exactly how to fix it.
Do you have a Meta Business Portfolio (Business Manager) set up?
Not your personal Facebook profile — the free business account at business.facebook.com that houses your Page, ad account and pixel together.
How to fix it
Takes about two minutes. Come back and mark this "Yes" once it's done.
Are you the admin/owner of that Business Portfolio?
Not a web developer, not a past agency, not a business partner who's since left. You, with full control.
How to fix it
This one's worth a shortcut — see the call option below.
Are your Page, ad account and Pixel all inside that portfolio — with you as admin on each?
All three need to live under one roof. A Page created years ago from a personal profile often isn't connected yet.
How to fix it
Your setup checks out. Now connect Franchise Rocket as a partner on your Business Portfolio — about three minutes, done by you as admin.

Go to business.facebook.com and open Business Settings (the gear icon).
Under Users in the left menu, click Partners.
Click Add, then choose "Give a partner access to your assets."
Paste our Business ID above and click Next.
For each tab — Ad Accounts, Pages, and Pixels/Datasets — select the relevant asset(s) and set access to Full control.
We need full control to manage campaigns, install tracking, and troubleshoot without back-and-forth. Partial access is the most common reason onboarding stalls.
Click Assign assets / Save changes.
If you're running Lead Ads (Instant Forms): go to Business Settings → Integrations → Leads Access, click Customise access, and add us as a partner with leads access on the relevant Page(s).
Skip this one if you're not using native Meta lead forms.
Even done carefully, Meta's permission system is easy to get slightly wrong — a missed asset, "partial" instead of "full," leads access left off. We'd rather catch that now than after your budget's live.
Book 15 minutes with Jaryd. We'll check every asset and permission on our end before spending a dollar of your ad budget.
